Eucalyptus Oil comes from the leaves of the eucalyptus tree, which is native to Australia, but now grows worldwide. The leaves are dried, crushed, and distilled to release the powerful essential oil.
The oil’s main ingredient is eucalyptol, which is known for its anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and aromatic properties. Australian Aboriginals used eucalyptus as a natural remedy against wounds, infections, aches, and colds. Eucalyptus Oil can boost the immune system, and is helpful especially in cases of chicken pox, colds, flu and measles.
Eucalyptus Oil is very helpful when used on headaches, fevers, on the respiratory tract, muscular aches and pains and in skin care. It has a soothing and calming effect on the whole body and helps with the immune system.
