Dosage:
- Adults, the elderly, and children over 12 years: Apply a small amount (approximately 2 to 5cm) of Ibuleve Maximum Strength Gel to the affected area. Gently massage into the skin until fully absorbed. Repeat this process up to three times a day, with at least 4 hours between applications.
- Children under 12 years: Use only under the advice of a healthcare professional.
Directions for Use:
- Wash your hands before and after application.
- Apply the gel only to clean, dry skin.
- Do not use more than 15g of the gel per day.
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and other sensitive areas.
- Do not apply to broken or damaged skin.
- Discontinue use if irritation or rash develops.
Side Effects: While Ibuleve Maximum Strength Gel is generally well-tolerated, some individuals may experience side effects, including:
- Skin irritation, redness, or rash at the application site
- Dry or itchy skin
- Peeling or flaking of the skin
- In rare cases, an allergic reaction may occur, manifesting as swelling, difficulty breathing, or severe skin reactions. If this happens, seek immediate medical attention.
Warnings:
- Do not use if you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs.
- Avoid using this product if you have asthma, particularly if it has been aggravated by NSAIDs.
- Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women unless advised by a doctor.
- If you are currently taking any other medication, particularly NSAIDs or blood thinners, consult your doctor before using Ibuleve Maximum Strength Gel.
- Prolonged use of the gel over large areas should be avoided, especially by people with kidney problems.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Drug Interactions:
- Concurrent use with other NSAID-containing products, including ibuprofen taken orally, should be avoided to reduce the risk of side effects.
- If you are taking blood-thinning medications (anticoagulants) like warfarin, consult your healthcare provider before using this gel.
Storage:
